Guest guest
I found that my gums improved a lt after I stopped using toothpaste and started making my own tooth powder of baking soda, calcium carbonate and a bit of mryyh powder. Even the Ayurvedic toothpaste Ihad been using contained Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which easts proteins such as our skin and gums. The other big discovery for me was that I was missing a couple of key nutrients imperative for good teeth. Reading Dr. Weston Price's classic NUTRITION AND PHYSICAL DEGENERATION was a big eye opener. He was a dentist from Cleveland who visited many indigenous people around the world and studied the health of those still eating their traditional diet, compared to those switching to modern diet. Then he did a dietary experiment with kids back home in Clevland. Found that with improper nutrition no matter how clean you keep your teeth there willl be decay because the saliva itself pulls minerals out tof the teeth. With proper nutrition, the saliva changes and actually can ADD minerals to areas that had previously started to decay. Cultures thaat did not clean their teeth at all, but who had the proper nutrients, had strong, healthy teeth. Why this information has not become mainstream is a mystery. But the facts are there.
