Botanical Names and Bourbon ** Was: Lavender Blend

Oh Butch - now I laughed so hard that I almost fell off my chair here

(what a heavy thump that would have amde LOL)about your former

girlsfriends Pop. Our GP used to say that 2 glasses of grape juice

the maserated way or 5ml of the destilled sort, is just GOOD for you,

and we have certainly taken that advise :-p But ciggars?? Please,

please - can I stay out of them? My Granma had nothing against

drinking a glass or two and she smoked cigarettes of celebrative

occations - and she lived to be 93, but in her case I think it was

more of the " evil flesh don't perrish " sort of thing (in Swedish -

ont fläsk förgås inte, put dots and cirlcles in the right place if

these typical Swedish letters doesn't show up)....;-O

 

Now I have my lavenders in front of me, as my eucalyptises (?) too.

And now you all realise that this woman is probably mad (or - I'm

perfectely normal in the company of you all nice people), cause I

have 5 bottles of lavenders and 4 eucalyptus.

Lavender: Lavendula offecinalis concrete (Liberty), Lavendula

angustifolia abs (Amphora), Lavendula augistifolia 40/42 (Snowdrift)

and Lavender officianalis, Himalaya wildcrafted (NG). So - any good

blend suggestions for these babes??

Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus citridora (Duft und Shoenheit), Eucalyptus

dives (same), Eucalyptus radiata (Crearome) and Eucalyptus citridora

(Sunrose). The two citrodoras are both from China and steamdestilled -

but oh boy do they smell different. I do prefer the one from

Sunrose - it's very mellow with a more citruses scent. Dang - now I

got some on my upper lip - it stings!!

 

Well, I'm off to take a piece of chamoise and infuse it with

eucalyptus and oregano - darned and damnation if that's not making

me breath easier....but what to do about the sore and swollen

throuth - I'm all tender on the outside of it as well. Mighty strange

virus :-(

 

Must confess though, I did a small search in the bushes for that

woman, but none very extenisve - was to affraid of what I could

find :-O But the shoe didn't seem to have been worn to much, the

soles was practically new. Hmprmf, now it lookes like someone have

hiked in the Swedish fjällen - it's was such a fun toy for a feisty

dog ;-D

Yep ... that way we always know that the neck bone ain't connected to

the laig bone. ;-p

Sniff it .. HOWSOMEVER .. if were me with a smeller problem .. after I

had sniffed a bit .. I'd wait 5 minutes or so .. I might consider a drop

or three of that cocktail in some soup ... just a food supplement you

understand. ;-p

 

With the stronger stuff .. depends on what it is of course .. you don't

gotta worry about smelling for it to have an effect. My grandpappy used

to squeeze the juice from a pint of Kentucky Bourbon over ice cubes -

then he'd fling the ice cubes out the back door and take his medicine

like a man. Bourbon and seegars .. doctor kept telling him they was

gonna kill him. But he lasted into his late 80s .. I imagine the damn

quack figgered it was the Bourbon and seegers what done it. ;-p

Gotta go find the lady .. she's likely out there in the same bushes.

Might be she had too much fruit of the vine and might be she's freezing
