Guest guest
Yo Chris, > I vote for the legga lamb now! Figgered that would get your attention. ;-p Sprinkled with Rosemary its finer'n frog hair split three ways. And Turkish lamb is REAL lamb, not some damn sheep old enough to vote. But the BEST of the BEST chow in Turkey is .. to me .. Isparta Kebap!!! Kid (young goat) bar-be-qued in a big room .. with taters and salad and that special drink they make with water, spices and grapes in Isparta. No place in Turkey those two dishes can be found cept'in in Isparta. My last trip to the Rose Fields .. in June .. I brought ten kilos back with me and froze it .. nuke it now and then when I feel a hankering. > I absolutely loved everything I ate in Turkey, BUT not the iskembe > (tripe soup) ;-p ! Yep .. but Iskembe is medically proven to eliminate hangovers afore they occur .. might be the massive amounts of garlic and sumac and lemon juice we put in it. That's why though the Iskembicesi is open 25 hours a day, business really starts around midnight and goes heavy till dawn. Course ... there's Mercimek Corbasi (Lentil) soup available for them what don't like Iskembe .. 3-4 people in Turkey don't like Iskembe. ;-p > *Wink* > Chris (list mom) Y'all keep smiling and have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. :-D Butch http://www.AV-AT.com > Thanksgiving Holiday Special - Pumpkin Pie Spice Soap > 5 oz Bar for the Price Of A 3 & 1/2 oz Bar - Only $3.50 Each! > Studies Show The Smell Of Pumpkin Pie Is A Male Aphrodisiac > http://www.alittleolfactory.com
