Guest guest
Hey Cheryl, > Hi Butch, > > Thanks for the conversation on this. I really have enjoyed it. Same here. > Reference Outlook Express. I use it for my business email and IDMA > list but use for this list and ATFE. I took it off my PC .. can't handle it. Not user friendly for me. ;-p > I love reading all the posts but unless I am really curious about > something I don't post. Sounds fair .. but maybe you oughta post more concerns. > I love the taste of Oregano Hydrosol in water. Me too .. in fact, the odor of Oregano intrigues me. Fresh like the electrified ozones in the air afore a storm .. least to me it does. > Now that I have had more of my questions answered I am going to > check out some of the other Hydrosols that you sell. Got two in hand that aren't on the site yet .. both Certified Organic. Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Yarrow (Achillea millefolium). And others leaving Turkey in the next 7 days or so Rosemary, Oregano (O. vulgare), Lavender (L. stoechas) Myrtle (Myrtus communis) Chasteberry (Vitex agnus castus .. from the Fruit) .. which will be a first in the USA. Also some EOs .. O. onites, O. dubium, O. vulgare and Vitex agnus castus Fruit. > > > >Marilyn Nicolson and her husband do this regularly .. Good show .. won't make you live longer but it'll make it seem like a lot longer. ;-p > My only vice right now is I absolutely love good food and food that > is supposedly bad for you too. Food that tastes good is bad for us .. eating grass is good for us. > But my immune system is improving and will continue to improve. Take that > >from one of the few persons who sells Oregano Hydrosol. ;-p > > Okay, guess we will change it. We are drinking 1-28 oz bottle of > water with 1ml of your Oregano Hydrosol added to it on a daily basis > for 1 week and then not adding the hydrosol for 1 week. I like it a > lot so will go with every other day. What you're getting is a lot less than I am. A fluid ounce is 29.573 milliliters .. 28 ozs is 828 ml .. so you're diluting 1 to 828. I'm using like 4 ozs (118 ml) or which 25% is Hydrosol .. or 29 ml. So I am diluting 1 to 4. ;-p Not saying others should .. but that's the norm here in Turkey. > Plus I will still keep drinking my other 6 or 7 28oz bottles of > regular water too! It tastes great without the hydrosol in it. ; ) Water is good for sure. > Okay testing will be expensive. If the hydrosol starts clouding > what should one do? Or is it even a concern? Could be a concern. Depends on the level in the bottle and whether or not the clouding is from suspended plant materials or critters. But I can't imagine anyone keeping hydrosol correctly having it around long enough for that. Could be however .. had a lady from another country write me that some Lavender Hydrosol she bought from me OVER TWO YEARS ago appeared to have critters in it. Said she usually refrigerated it but not all the time .. and when I asked about the containers she had put it in she disregarded the question. That's a bit long in the first place and improper storage would cut the shelf life even more. > Does straining it through coffee filters help any at all? It'll remove plant particles but not critters. We use coffee filters on all our hydrosols .. even those straight from the still. > I do plan to go to the local university and take another chemistry > class. I reckon. ;-p > I will practice and play with them because that is how I learn. > Same as how I learned how to use my essential oils. Good show ... in this field, practice makes almost perfect .. IF .. we have a lotta good luck too. ;-) > I do not know anything about homeopathy medicine either. There is > way down my list of stuff to read about. Me too .. down below the sex life of the Somalia 3-toed WampusCat. > So, to make a long story shorter, in my opinion, as long as I keep > my hydrosols regrigerated or in a very cool room then I am safe > using them internally. Can't concur with that. Matters how long you keep'em and how often you use them. A simple statement is that as long as they are not contaminated and a person doesn't overdo it, they should be safe. This is also true for most foods and other things we consume. > Reference Martin, I was referring to his article not the journal > itself. I will go take a look shortly to read it. He's not near the Troll he sounds like when he posts on IDMA. ;-p > His classes were quite enjoyable. Heard that from others too .. glad I am. > Thanks once again for the confirmation of what I was thinking. Not sure what I confirmed .. but you're welcome fer'shur. > Cheryl Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
