[alfranken] * 2 ALL: MAD GEORGE BACKS JEB FOR WHITE HOUSE -

DOES JEB STAND A CHANCE?*

HE AIN'T HEAVY - HE'S MY EVEN STUPIDER BROTHER

Bush suggested today that he'd like to see his family's White

House legacy continue, with his younger brother Jeb as the

chief executive. The president said Florida Gov. Jeb Bush

would make " a great president. "

" I would like to see Jeb run at some point in time, but I have no

idea if that's his intention or not, " W said , adding that he

had " pushed him fairly hard about what he intends to do, "

but Jeb has not said.

" I have no idea what he's going to do. I've asked him that question

myself. I truly don't think he knows, "

Mad George concluded.

MAD GEORGE BACKS JEB FOR WHITE HOUSE - DOES JEB STAND A CHANCE?*

Like his older brother Smirky Chimp, L'il Jeb just loves his state's

electric chair. As president, he won't get to play with it. Is that

why he's not interested in the presidency, or is he just clowning

around, biding his time with the announcement that he is running after

all?

As often, W made a statement this morning which makes you wonder

whether he's totally nuts, or knows something we don't. He backed l'il

brother Jeb for the 2008 presidential race. Imagine Jeb's surprise.

Jeb has made it clear again and again he doesn't want to run.

But Jeb's got his whole family against him - his parents - his older

brother - and the people employed in the vast Bush empire. It's up to

him. Neil's unelectable for his impropreities. But Jeb, never having

done much of anything at all, has few to no skeletons, unlike his

father and brother. That's more from indolence, not a matter of

conscience.

Do you think Jeb Bush stands a chance in 2008? Whay or why not?
