Guest guest
Hello Everyone, My nephew was playing football last fall (almost 1 year ago) and he injured his leg. Although it is not as bad as it was, he still experiences pain and sensitivity near and just below his knee. I felt around his calf and it seems that in the area of the gastronemius he has an area which does not feel right. As you move down from the knee along the muscle, it is not smooth. You can feel an area about the size of a silver dollar that is thickened and is much more sensitive. He has been to his doctor and has not really gotten anywhere with that. I have used oils to stimulate circulation to the area but being an 18 year old, he is not too fond of the scent and is reluctant to use these on a regular basis. I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions about dealing with this type of situation. Thanks for your help, Dorothy
