I wuz borned in Nashville and lived thar till I wuz 9 .. then we moved to the KY-TN line .. little town called Guthrie, KY .. population 1,250 and getting smaller .. in Todd County, home of Jefferson Davis .. the President of the Confederate States of America and he has a monument there that is similar to the Washington Monument .. just a tad shorter. Guthrie is the home of Robert Penn Warren, America's first Poet Lauret in prose and poetry .. author of All the King's Men and Band of Angels. I went to school with his niece and his brother ran a grain mill there. Its also the location of the oldest still operational stage stop in KY. Stage Coach Inn is owned by the Northington family .. it is the same old structure that originally stood on the spot and George Washington spent more than one night there .. Jesse James robbed it once too .. ;-p I'm a certified and bonified Kentucky Colonel too .. ;-p Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com American By Birth, Southern By The Grace Of God, Patriot By Choice!
