Guest guest
Hey Michelle, > Hey Butch- Im not gone yet!! Soon though - huh? :-P > > I'd send you a bottle of Turkish Rose Otto to relax with cept'in I > > know that you have danged near as much as I do now .. ;- > > AW- but I think you have a different vintage now :-) Ain't gonna BS you a'tall .. you DO NOT want the new (2002) vintage of anybody's Rose Otto .. its too new .. too green. I'm still selling the 2000 crop and won't start selling 2001 until early 2003. The only folks who will buy the 2002 crop of Rose Otto now are the perfumeries. Rose Otto improves with age .. if I still had some of the 1999 crop, I would consider raising the price. I have only a few one gram bottles that I use myself .. I keep a one gram bottle in my pocket ALL THE TIME! > I have been using Rose Otto in my St Johns wort oil as an indulgence > lately - and going crazy with the hydrosol- I just LOVE that stuff! Good stuff fer'shur - huh? Glad you like it .. :-) > And the rose otto is in my " birth blend " - along with spikenard and > helichrysum, and german cham and frankincense...and clary, geranium > and your High alt. lavender... bliss... Good show .. :-P I personally prefer the French High Altitude Lavender to the Bulgarian .. the Bulgarian is good stuff and folks love it but I like the French better. Lemme tell you something about the Clary I have ... its sorta unique and I have only 2 lbs and 12 oz left. Its Organic American, High Sclareol Clary Sage. Its unique in that Sclareol in all commercially produced Clary Sage runs between 0.2% - 0.6%. There are references to higher levels but such oils are rarely commercially available as plants that produce high sclareol are used by the fragrance industry for extraction of sclareol - a precursor to production of an aromachemical called Ambroxan. Folks in AT have difficulty finding high sclareol oil. This oil has an exceptionally high level of sclareol, 3.26% - which is rare. Sclareol is the chemical component believed to be responsible for the hormonal balancing effect and the higher the sclareol content, the better. Lemme tell y'all something about the Heli. The finest in the world .. and the most effective for scar removal .. is from Corsica. Helichrysum italicum (Everlasting/Immortelle) .. its heads and shoulders above the Croatian crap somesell and even the Madagascar Heli .. which is really Helichrysum bracteiferum. BUT .. the demand for Corsican Heli italicum is greater than the supply and you gotta know somebody to get it .. and then you gotta kiss a bunch of tail. The price has gone sky high because producers can't distill it in a volume to satisfy needs. I MIGHT get a kilo in a month of so and I say MIGHT because I am pulling some big time strings to make it happen. As of today, I have ZERO stock in Wholesale and only ONE EACH 5 ml bottle left .. that's it! If I had more, I would have included it in the Six Pack of Exotic Oils. If I can't get any more this year - and that is very possible .. then I will sell NO Heli because I will not offer an inferior oil .. its not in my best interests to do this. > OK > Bye now And to you .. good luck and keep smiling, Butch :-) http://www.AV-AT.com > Michelle
