I intend to use it on my Roses this year when the aphids come. Last year, they were in abundance and the wasps had a ball but couldn't keep up with them. > Another wonderful use for Butch's Hydrosol's. Sandi Thanks for the nice testimonial. Here's another one. Yesterday at this time, I was around 90% sure I'd be getting a heart bypass operation this month .. many indicators were go. Cholesterol at 320 .. smoker .. and edema in my left leg, caused by poor circulation there. EKG was great .. but the Ultrasound showed no problems with the veins in the leg .. not great .. and it was the opinion of some medical friends that there was a blockage in the heart .. thus, the circulation problem. Today I took the last and most strenuous test .. treadmill. Took more than 12 minutes .. the last 3-4 minutes being a fast run .. to get my heart rate up to 150 .. which is great and a wonder for a feller closer to 60 than 55 .. and the test showed there was ZERO blockage. After that treadmill, I took all the tests and all my old Army medical records to the Professor Dr. lady .. one of the famous Cardiologists in Turkey .. and she pronounced me being finer'n frog hair and likely to make 90 years .. BP runs around 120/80 all the time and the amount of time it took to get my heart rate up to 150 even surprised her. But the lowest my cholesterol has ever been was 270 .. back in '87 .. and that was after almost a year of cholesterol medication. Basically, my liver produces hypercholesterol even if I eat leaves and grass only. She determined that the circulation problem in my left leg is caused by a number of things working together ... smoking, high cholesterol and a couple of very traumatic injuries in the leg bone, ankle, ligiments and tendons - back when I was a young(er) soldier. AND .. sitting on my ass in front of a PC screen 16-18 hours a day was also causing problems. So I gotta cut that out too. Anyway .. I had planned for the likelyhood of having an operation, and knowing that Turkish doctors are as fine as any in the world, I had no concerns there. I did have concerns about the hygiene in the hospital after leaving the cutting room (which would have been sterile). It was the university hospital my doctor would have had to use and I was warned about hygiene maybe not being exactly what I was used to in the US Army hospitals (I know nothing of US civilian hospitals). One of the things I had planned was to have a friend spray the entire room with Oregano Hydrosol afore I came out of the cutting room and then each and every day thereafter. I am 100% convinced that it would have been the best thing that could be done .. but now, looks like I won't get the opportunity to try it .. ;-p Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com > > Also .. there is much research going on in Turkey, Greece and the Balkan > > countries reference use of essential oils as fungicides and pesticides. > > Good results have been found using Origanum vulgare and Sage (Salvia > > fruticoas, syn. triloba). > > > > Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com > > > > > I agree with you Chris... > > > > > > It should ALL be organic... > > > Ag chemicals should be illegal!
