OT: Reasons to Grow Your Own Garden

Hi y'all,

 

Gonna agree with all you say except the fertilizers. Neither a plant

nor a chemist can tell if the fertilizer was organic or man-made because

it reverts to the chemical basics afore the plant can use it. Not the

case for fungicides and pesticides.

 

Also .. there is much research going on in Turkey, Greece and the Balkan

countries reference use of essential oils as fungicides and pesticides.

Good results have been found using Origanum vulgare and Sage (Salvia

fruticoas, syn. triloba).
