You are exactly right. After being bugged by forty-eleven people on forty-twelve soaping listes, I shipped one metric ton of water-extracted Olive Pomace Oil to my company in Maryland .. then, when they potential buyers learned it was a bit more expensive than the solvent-extracted pomace, half of them backed off. Chris bought 2 each 200 kilo barrels (400 kg or 882 lbs or 110 gallons) and as far as I know, she is the ONLY person in the USA who has water extracted pomace now. To take it further, she's the only one that is likely to ever get any because I will NOT export it again, > I do know that most is, though... Michelle Right you are .. but traditionally, Turkish soap makers prefer the water extracted pomace and as best as I've been able to learn to date, we're the only country that produces it commercially. The final waste from the product is used as fuel and fertilizer .. NOTHING is wasted.
