Odds are slim you'll find anything like it in the USA. I used to go to

Egypt often .. back when I was still in uniform and serving in Central

Command .. we had prepositioned equipment there.

The Egyptians .. and moreso, the Tunisians, like most Arab countries,

have perfumes for sale in single bottles or they squirt it into small

bottles from large gallon jugs. Thing is .. most of its a combination

of natural and synthetic ingredients ... the norm with most perfumes in

the USA. But they don't have the production capability for volume ..

nor the knowledge of export or how to find US markets .. so its hard to

find such nice perfumes in the USA.

Tutankamon was young King Tut .. I used to stay in the Nile Hilton.

Just behind it is the Egyptian museum for King Tut .. super nice it is

too. If anybody gets to Cairo .. you gotta see it.

Their beer sucks .. called Stella it is and one of the worst in the

world. But they got some good chow. I used to eat breakfast on the

street .. fellers were selling something looked like crushed bread

crumbs that were toasted .. they'd pour some kinda bit of something over

it and it was pretty good. Reminded me of roasted grasshoppers cause it

was real crunchy like. Never figgered out what it was but we gave it a

name anyhow .. called it Critters On Stuff. That's a rule of traveling

in the Middle East and Asia .. if you gotta ask, don't eat it .. ;-p

Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
