OT: Essential Oils Spammers ** OR ** Have Passport - Will Travel

Hi y'all,

 

Most folks know that I deal in retail and wholesale essential oils - and

that means I buy in large volume. For various good reasons, I try to

get close to the still and producer as possible. Meaning .. I travel a

good bit visiting such outfits.

 

Because its my intent to expand my opeations, I decided to travel more

this year .. being in the center of where things are, its as easy for me

to go to one of the European, Mid Eastern or African countries as it is

for many Americans to visit the next state. Tunisia and Morocco are a

hop and a skip .. Madagascar is not far away .. and all of Europe is so

close that you might get one meal on the plane.

 

In a very short period of time my increased willingness to travel has

resulted in me learning more about some of the folks who spam me and you

off line - folks who lurk on these lists collecting email addresses.

I'm learning that many of these so-called growers/distillers are simply

traders operating out of a spare bedroom. In the last two weeks, I've

been spammed by two so-called MAJOR operators in Bulgaria .. they sent

their Spam to my wholesale/retail outlet in Maryland. I wrote back and

ended the post with a proposal that I would like to come and see them..

especially since I was a next-door neighbor. Not surprising .. neither

of them wrote back .. ;-p

 

I'm considering posting a laundry list of these con-men on my website

this year .. they need to be identified if they either non-legitimate or

representing themselves as something they are not. I get many requests

from folks to visit our operations here in Turkey and I always say YES.

Its the only way to do business. If y'all get spammed by someone who is

claiming to be a major producer, you can pass it to me IF you want to.

 

There are many legitimate growers or distillers or grower/distillers out

and about .. and there are legitimate traders .. its the ones that claim

something they are not that need exposing and I intend to do that.

 

So .. for all you spammers who are monitoring this list and collecting

email addresses .. and other lists (since I'm on most of them), when you

spam someone they just might send me the spam .. and I might write you

and propose a visit - and if you are legitimate, we can maybe do some

business together ... nit if you're not legitimate, you might find your

name in lights .. ;-p
