Guest guest
Hi. I've been lurking around this group for a little while, now. Very enjoyable group! My question pertains to some of the blends one finds in a famous, rather pricey line of E.O's which will go unnamed, but suffice it to say that it is one of the biggest in the country. There's a particular blend called " Theives " , which I'd like to duplicate. Does anyone have a facsimile of the recipe? Also " Valor " is a good one. Guest guest
Someone sent this to a group I belonged to years ago, it should help! The blend contains the following oils: Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon bark, Eucalyptus (radiata), Rosemary. Recommended application is: Apply to bottom of feet, or rub over feet, throat, stomach and abdomen. Dilute 1 drop of thieves in 15 drops of V-6 and massage over thymus. It was created from research about a group of 15th -century thieves who rubbed oils on themselves to avoid contracting the plague while they robbed the bodies of the dead and dying. When apprehended, these thieves disclosed the formula of herbs, spices and oils they used to protect themselves in exchange for more lenient punishment. This same blend was tested at Weber State University and was found to have a 99.6% kill rate against airborne bacteria. The oils are highly anti-viral, anti-septic, anti-bacterial, anti-infectious, and help to protect the body against such illnesses as flu, colds, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, sore throats, cuts, etc... A couple of notes on this blend: First of all, the oils are EXTREMELY potent and will likely cause burning. Test first by applying 1 drop only to a relatively safe area of skin, such as the bottom of the feet. For those of you interesting in making up your own blend of essential oils to approximate this, I have a few recipes. I have never personally tried any of these - got them from other sources - so " your mileage may vary. " 1st recipe: 2 parts Cloves 1 part Rosemary 3 parts Eucalyptus 2 parts Cinnamon leaf 2 parts Lemon 2nd recipe: Equal parts of oils listed below: Clove Bud Lemon Orange Grapefruit Cinnamon Eucalyptus Rosemary Ginger Nutmeg Thyme Clary Sage Oregano 3rd recipe: equal parts of the following oils: Frankinsence Hyssop Clove Cinnamon Mountain Savory Oregano Black Cumin Tansy 4th recipe: 2 parts Clove 1 part Rosemary 2 part Eucalyptus, globulus 2 parts Cinnamon leaf or 1/2 part Cinnamon bark 1 part Eucalyptus, radiata 2 parts Lemon Debbie deb BHC Decadence is now www.debrasrhapsody.com -- please excuse our look as we revamp for the new year! - <dingos101 Friday, January 17, 2003 3:18 AM how to blend > Hi. > I've been lurking around this group for a little while, now. > Very enjoyable group! > > My question pertains to some of the blends one finds in a famous, rather > pricey line of E.O's which will go unnamed, but suffice it to say that it is > one of the biggest in the country. > There's a particular blend called " Theives " , which I'd like to duplicate. > Does anyone have a facsimile of the recipe? > Also " Valor " is a good one. > > Aloha, > Asira > > How To Make Rose Petal Jam - Step By Step Instructions > http://www.av-at.com/stuff/rosejam.html > > To Un send a blank e-mail to: - > > > >
