Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I am posting this to two lists - hope you can forgive me for this. I need to find some good music for massage therapists to use in their sessions. I would like a place or places that I can buy at reduced prices to resell in my store. I have had many requests but need ideas as to what type of music especially what is good for relaxation, mediation etc.... I know there are therapists and individuals into meditation who know music. This is an area that I am absolutely terrible at. I would appreciate any help that anyone has to give me. I have also been asked about candles and again I am totally lost as to what a therapist or someone meditating wants to have on hand to use. ===== Cheryl Smith Anchorage AK Mail Plus - Powerful. Guest guest
Hi Cheryl I think some very nice music for relaxation is the "New Age" instrumentals - like Kitaro, Clannad and Enya. Also I think some hammered dulcimer (especially this time of year) is very nice. , and even some chamber music Ellipsis Arts is a music label that has a lot of great stuff like that ... or Narada is another one A wholesaler I used to deal with when I was a buyer at a NYC Health store is Music Design http://www.musicdesign.com/ 1-800-862-7232 They had an extensive catalog and great sample program As for candles .. just the use of candle light itself can be soothing and relaxing, but especially ones that have natural soothing scents, such as lavender, or even just plain pure beeswax I'd stay away from "Glade" type candles (fake strawberry scents, etc ...) cause even though they can smell nice to some, they don't have any TRUE therapeutic value to them and the chemicals used to make them can actually do more harm than good. I also like to use only natural wax candles with non metal core wicks now too for the same reasons. I hope that helped a little bit *Smile*Chris (list mom) Many Thank You's For Your Support in 2002! http://www.alittleolfactory.com Cheryl [female_tigress] Wednesday, December 18, 2002 9:13 PMatfe ; Subject: Massage Music and Candles HELP please.Hi Everyone,I am posting this to two lists - hope you canforgive me for this.I need to find some good music for massagetherapists to use in their sessions.
