Guest guest
I'd be delighted to share my doses with you. Our lab is about 75 pounds also. We have the granules of msm and glucosamine in the store so I just mix the two 1:1 together and give her 1/2 tsp in the morning and 1/2 in the evening. (most herb shops should have the powders as they are so much cheaper than trying to buy the pills)I give her 1 capsule coral calcium in the am and pm. I separate the capsule and pour it on the canned food along with the other powders and mix it up and then put her hard food in with it. I am so glad we have her off the Etogesic (which is equal to Rimadyl). So much for our " old Lady " dog. She's romping all over the place. Hope this can work for your companion too:) When we loose our Shinelle they are gonna have to do some serious anti-depressant teas to keep me from blubbering all over the customers!!! They say the coral calcium also helps with allergies. Haven't heard from anyone who's tried it though. I'm going to check with the manufacturer about hyperthyroidism and coral calcium because it isn't the same as the other calciums people take. " " Coral " Calcium actually helps elimate bone spurs, kidney stones and other " calcium " forming problems. The studies now show these problems are from too little calcium and what calcium the body did absorb it would glom on to in the form of stones. Very interesting studies out there.Sure wish the Drs would read their journals and advocate it more. I hate it when it's still Tuesday and the date on here says its Wed morning already!!!My days go by fast enough:) sleep well everyone, Hugs, Dori p.s. I think you will find using the pure powders much cheaper and far more effective than Knox Nutra stuff xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > All that said, would you mind sharing what dosages you give her? I was talking with my postmand today or rather yesterday now. He said he just used the msm and glucosamine. Is it possible to just use these two for fibro? I think I will do even more research than I already have. Hoping to head out your way this weekend. ===== Cheryl Smith Anchorage AK Web Hosting - Let the expert host your site http://webhosting. Guest guest
Thank you so much, Dori, for the info - I'm sure going to give it a try. Am going to scan through the archives now for the best kind of coral calcium to buy, since today I can get to the nearest health food store (60 miles) to look for these things. I can totally relate to your comment: > When we loose our Shinelle they are gonna have to do some serious > anti-depressant teas > to keep me from blubbering all over the customers!!! Maya is only 9, and we're already dreading the day - she was just born with so many problems, I'm glad we got her because there aren't many people around here who would've babied her along the way we have. I don't lose pets well anyway, but this one is like one of the kids to us. > They say the coral calcium also helps with allergies. Haven't heard > from anyone who's tried it though. Well, I'll get this regimen going and can let you know next spring/summer when everything pops out. We had an allergy test done on her and she's highly allergic to basically anything that grows, except for molds and spores. Keeps things interesting! Thanks so much for sharing that information, I can't wait to get her started. Jonee

Cheryl, I have been able to cut my use of 200 mg of Celebrex down from one a day to one only when I really overwork like standing on my feet all day cooking or doing heavy duty housework by using the MSM and Glucosamine Sulfate. I'm up to about 6- 1000 mg caps a day plus I also take Coral Calcium. Read Bob Barefoot's book after a friend of mine told me about the coral calcium.
