Hi Everyone,

 

I am getting ready to open a retail/wholesale

shop here in Anchorage AK.

 

I will be selling Aromatherapy products/supplies,

dry herbs, along with massage equipment and

supplies.

 

The only stores like it in town are in the

Natural Pantry, Fred Myers, Carrs, Laura's Body &

Bath. Of course, all of us know they do not

educate and when I check out their oils and such

they were all diluted with other stuff.

 

I hope to be opening 1 January but that is a

tentative date. I am not in a big hurry because

I want to do it right the first time.

 

I am still working on my business plan, and

financing. If anyone has an aromatherapy

business plan that I might use as a base line it

would be extremely helpful.

A Heavenly Body Aromatherapy & Massage Supplies

 

Please, if anyone has other suggestion, I am open

to hear them.

 

Some of the products I am looking to stock are

all-natural handmade soaps (not a lot though),

all-natural candles, and if you have other

suggestions on this please send them my way.

 

The theme of the shop is mainly Aromatherapy in

as much as selling essential oils, absolutes etc,

carrier oils, synergies and blends made to order.

I also have a wide line of aroma lamps (tea light

style), many people up here have asked for

incense so I am looking for a supplier of good

incense - preferable made with essential oils.

 

I am not very good at writing so I am also

looking for good handouts with safety information

to hand out with every sale. Also I would like

to include a limited line of AT, Massage, Herbal

and Alternative Medicine books and some music

too.

 

Massage equipment and supplies mainly consists of

linens, face pads, hand tools etc. Massage

tables and chairs will be special order only.

I like the idea, but it seems rather a mouthful

 

What about

'Heavenly Bodies' in big letters with 'Aromatherapy and Massage Supplies' underneath?

I like that. You are right that the one I am

mulling over is a mouthful.

 

Maybe I should have a contest for names....hmmm

not a bad idea. I will mull that over too.
