Guest guest
I have infused some herbs in olive oil, and I want to make it into a salve instead of an oil. I have jojoba esters and beeswax; but since this concoction is for the scalp, I'd prefer not to use beeswax. Would jojoba esters thicken it sufficiently? If so, how much should I use for 4 oz. of oil/herb infusion? Thanks for any help you can give me! -- Sandy
Guest guest
Hi Sandy, I personally haven't used the jojoba esters, but have heard you can use them practically interchangibly (sp), however, you might try emailing where you purchased them for an amount to use in a salve. Good luck to you! Margaret >I have infused some herbs in olive oil, and I want to make it into a salve >instead of an oil. It's jojoba without whatever makes it a liquid. It's a thick waxy substance. -- Sandy
Guest guest
Thanks Sandy: I saw another email questioning what it was. Thanks for taking the time to answer.
