Anonymous Elves Holiday Swap - Reminder

Howdy folks,

 

I mentioned this some time ago, and now it's that time of year again! Of

course by that I mean it is holiday time, and we all like to get

presents at the holidays And if you're like me you are busy beavers -

and that means little time to really pamper yourself while preparing to

pamper everyone else!

 

Well that is why we're setting up the Anonymous Elves Holiday Swap, so

we can pamper others (like we're so used to doing), while getting a

little pampering ourselves (and we get to check out everyone else's

fabulous talents and goodies too!!!) That is part of what makes this

holiday swap so wonderful! It's just a little something extra special

and fun during the season of giving and receiving.

 

This is not a swap of purchased gifts, but a swap of homemade goodies

and crafts of all sorts! The sky is the limit folks! Have fun - 'tis the

season to be jolly as they say (and all those Fa La La's that go along

with it From bath salts to wrought iron sculpture . if you make it,

it's wonderful - it just has to fit into one box - that's it - no

particular box size either .. just make it a box that you'd be happy to

get if you were on the receiving end.

 

If you would are interested in participating in the holiday swap, email

me the following information:

 

Your name, snail mail address and email address

 

Also, to help your Anonymous Elf out (they are Elves, not mind readers

it'd be nice to also add the following info:

Favorite scents and colors (as well as least favorites of both)

Also a good idea is to mention if you have any particular allergies.

Add anything else you think is pertinent info too - such as a wish list

of sorts - or if you have a particular specialty you'd like to share

(that'll help when being considered for who you'll be an Anonymous Elf

to .

 

I need to have this information no later than November 10th. At that

time I (and/or my Angel helpers) will assign all Anonymous Elves to a

gift recipient. Just a note, the person whom you will be sending to will

not be the same person you're going to be receiving from Gift

packages should be sent out no later than December 16th! And no blabbing

about who you get until after all gifts are sent out - that is why we

call it Anonymous Elves Anyone who punks out on sending a box of

goodies to their assigned gift recipient while enjoying the goodies from

their elf will have to deal with me (and I am the Wicked Witch of the

East living in the Midwest - I'll no hesitate to send my flying monkeys

to deal with you ;-p ). I will personally make sure nobody is stiffed in

the end, even if that means a box of goodies is sent from me to make it

right! :-) If you have any questions - e-mail me.

 

For those of you who already signed up .... I'll be sending out your

sign up confirmations as soon as I get a moment to breathe

anything in return. I was all sad faced. Not

putting myself in that situation again.

Gee Judy,

 

I'll count ya out for this time around . but ya should have

A. told me . and

B. if you did tell me - reminded me!

I'd have (and still will) make sure you get a box of goodies :-)

 

Not an excuse, just a fact, but sometimes I get overwhelmed with stuff

in general and need a reminder when it comes to replacing stuff for

folks (like orders that initially did get shipped and then were lost or

busted in the mail), or picking up after other people's messes, but I

ALWAYS try to make things right for folks if I can :-) This past year

was especially rough on me between raising a toddler on my own, dealing

with my divorce, running the company by myself, keeping together a

household by myself, selling my house and moving, and dealing with

getting my head and health back into a good place (I was diagnosed with

post partum depression and clinical depression - in part due to some

hefty chemical imbalances, which my doc has been treating wholistically

- and helped me immensely) .. so if I space, its not ever on purpose,

and I don't take offense to a HELLO CHRIS - WAKE UP - every so often

As I said, that wasn't an excuse, just a set of factoids, and even an

apology for not having it at all times as together in me little ol'

brain as I should . I'm working on it :-)

 

SO . Judy, send me off-list your snail mailing addy and other info

(likes, dislikes, allergies, etc ...), and you WILL get a box of goodies

this year *grinz*
