I wanted to start making small (1 oz bottles) containers of massage

oils to bring with me in my birth kit when I attend births.

Can someone recommend an excellent resource for me to purchase and

learn from?

TIA

Dale

Hi Dale,

The blend I use and sell is:

In a base of Jojoba oil the following essential oils:

Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Jasmine absolute, Rose Otto, Rose absolute,

Frankincense, Bergamot, Spikenard, Neroli, Geranium, Palmarosa

If/when I have the time a little later I can go into detail about why I

use each oil. But in a nutshell, as a blend, it is very relaxing, and

worked very well during my son's unmedicated L & D (and I hope it'll work

just as well this time around). It can be used as a massage blend, a

bath oil and a diffused oil .

Well, I have lavender and frankincense! I also have patchouli, sandalwood,

ylang ylang and clary sage. I purchased them not quite blindly but just about.

I'd 'heard' they were positive for labor and I thought I'd buy oils that I liked

myself in case I got 'stuck' with them. Oh, I also have lemongrass for

footbaths.

I was sent a book recommendation. I can't seem to find a good site for labor

and massage oils. I went to google and only found sites that sell a pre-mixed

oil.
