Hi Leela,

I've never personally used lobelia for that purpose (quit cold turkey I

did ;) but I can tell you that Linda Rector Page, N.D. recommends a

tobacco addiction fighting tea which consists of

One part each:

Oatstraw and seed,

Lobelia seed and tops,

Licorice,

Calamus root

and Sassafras.

She says that will help to lessen the desire to smoke, strengthen

adrenals and help to cleanse the lungs and bronchii.

She also mentions Oats and Scullcap teas ..

Also, she states that Echinacea, Valerian Root and Lobelia make

effective extracts (tinctures) for this purpose.

I hope that helps :-)

Re: Searching for organically grown herb

Oh Chris, I'd love to have some too. If you make it in a tincture, does

it

really help to stop smoking? This is something I haven't tried yet.

I'm

such a weenie... I've tried everything to quit, but never have been able

to

stick with it.

That it does... help. Thanks. I'm off to your site and others to find the

ingredients. I'd better buy a ton of it too. ;)
