Monday that was brought back to me when I passed the grounds of on of the churches in my town. There, lined up like soldiers were 3041 white crosses about 18 " high and each bearing the name of one of those who lost their life on that awful day. The people of that congregation had spent the last month making the crosses and painting each person's name on one.Then, as my eyes spanned the vast expanse of earth it took to display all those crosses, I felt the utter horror of that tragic incident. I went to my favorite places and read the poem that was posted last year. This date is one that will never be forgotten and now there actually is a time that we can consider " the good ole days " . It is so sad to know those days are forever lost to us and our children and I thank God that He gave me a chance to experience them.
