The cold ones sound great - close as we are to Mexico, we get great buys on Corona. Add a twist of lemon, and MMMM! We did try the bugzapper thingy before, and got a bunch of the strangest, alien-looking insects you ever saw! Maybe just have to keep the ol' flyswat handy. Gotta go get some beers! (It's a bit early, will give us time to get them chilled good, tho'! Jonee
Guest guest
Hey Jonee, > Yo, Butch! > > Thanks for the skeeter info, interesting! Welcome you are. Its sorta a new breakthrough in mankind's war against nature. Not as good as smearing the body with rancid bear grease but somehow, society has turned away from the tried and true. > Not nearly as serious, but every bit as annoying here, are flies. > Any ideas of what'd work (besides a good, deep, freeze!) to keep them > away? So far the only sure thing is a flyswatter. Somehow the > stinkin' things know the minute you get one out! Jonee I reckon that ideee K gave will work .. never tried to drown them afore but it sounds like a good ideee. Might try fly strips too .. never seen one whut wasn't plastered with flys. But if you wanna have fun and even invite all your neighbors over to have fun .. get a case or two of cold beer .. a couple of electronic bug zappers .. put some rancid meat on the floor of the bug zappers .. and turn'em on. It'll be even more fun after the sun goes down. Y'all can sit there, suck on cold ones, and listen to the beautiful music of flys being blown apart. ;-p Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
