Bottle Suppliers and Labeling

Hi Everyone,

I am thinking about reselling EO's on a small scale, make that a very small

scale. Does anyone have a favorite bottle supplier, also any thoughts on

amber vs blue bottles, I just really like the way blue cobalt looks. The

labels are my biggest problem at the moment, so much information to go in

such a small space. I am only going to be carrying the basic oils, such as

Lavender, peppermint, Eucalyptus etc.

 

You can reply off list if you prefer, I appreciate any suggestions that you

might have for me.

Sorry for the late response to this one! It was a crazy week last week!

 

For bottles I like Essential Supplies http://www.essentialsupplies.com

The blue bottles are pretty, but I heard some kind of controversy a few

years back that some brands were just colored blue and not blue through

and through, therefore not suitable for EO's (a leaching issue), so just

make sure your bottles are not just blue coated (I dunno if that was a

problem for the green bottles). The Miron Violet bottles are AWESOME,

the best around in fact, but they are SO hard to get (and so expensive

if you can get them)! Amber is great and classic for keeping out light

(obviously just make sure to always do a dark colored glass, not plastic

).

 

As far as labels go .. yeah, that can be a problem fitting all that info

into a little space. My only advice .. Pick a font small enough to get

it all on there, yet large enough to read
