Just for those who've been following my daughters 4th pregnancy and supporting

us with thoughts and prayers I thought you might like to know that I was down

there for a long weekend last week. She's 17 weeks into the pregnancy now, baby

is very lively - she can feel it and so could I :) She's not got over her

sickness but is sort of resigned to it now, having tried absolutely every

suggestion people have made. Some days she just feels a bit off but others,

especially if she gets particularly tired she is really very sick. Despite all

that she's looking well!

I bought some of Chris's Labor and Delivery Relaxation Blend and it is lovely.

You never know what something's going to smell like when you buy it 'blind' but

it's really good. Difficult to describe - there's freshness there (I'm smelling

it at the moment) but also warmth and flowers and it's one of those blends that

makes you want to breathe it in really deeply - that must be the Frankincense in

it. Anyway, it's lovely and I can really recommend it, not only for Labour and

Delivery but also just for using 'cos it's so nice.

I've got in on my wrists at the moment and asked DH to smell it - he said " wow

that's really good, not medicinal at all, more like a perfume " and I can tell

you Chris, that's high praise!

What sort of diffuser would you use it in Chris, I'm not used to using blends in

Jojoba in a diffuser, I usually just use eo's on water. Doesn't the Jojoba

burn?

Also, thanks Chris for the Buttermilk Baby Bath. That's not been tried! but we

did have a sniff and it's just so gentle.

That's enough of my ramblings

Bye

Regards

Ann - Scotland

Hooray! :-)

She's not got over her sickness but is sort of resigned to it now,

having tried absolutely every suggestion people have made. Some days

she just feels a bit off but others, especially if she gets particularly

tired she is really very sick. Despite all that she's looking well!

They say (old wives tale kinda thing) that all that nausea means a

strong pregnancy! :-)

Also, for my nausea, my doc recommended for me to eat " sour foods " and

foods to strengthen the liver . such as pickles (the kind made without

vinegar), sour dough breads and stuff like that, he also mentioned beets

(pickles beets are even better). I must say I got over my nausea stage a

lot faster doing that this time around than I did with my son Sean

(where I was sick for 3 months straight)!

I bought some of Chris's Labor and Delivery Relaxation Blend and it is

lovely.

Oh I'm so glad you all like it! :-) I find it to be a particularly

lovely blend!

'blind' but it's really good. Difficult to describe - there's freshness

there (I'm smelling it at the moment) but also warmth and flowers and

I have another gal and her sister who both use it just for relaxation,

and neither of them are even pregnant!

I've got in on my wrists at the moment and asked DH to smell it - he

said " wow that's really good, not medicinal at all, more like a perfume "

and I can tell you Chris, that's high praise!

Awwww *blushing*, thanks!

What sort of diffuser would you use it in Chris, I'm not used to using

blends in Jojoba in a diffuser, I usually just use eo's on water.

Doesn't the Jojoba burn?

Actually you're really not ever wanting to let any of oil " burn " per se

when you use a diffuser, diluted or not ... You can use it in a

potpourri simmering pot with a tea light candle and water, you can put

it into one of those little diffusers with a scent pad and a fan in it,

it can be placed inside of unglazed pottery to slowly evaporate . to

name just a few methods .

The Jojoba really helps to bring the blend together. I find that when I

make blends, they just don't smell quite right until I use a cutting

oil, its too " sharp " otherwise. I like to use Jojoba as my cutting oil

'cause it won't go rancid after sitting in storage for a while and ruin

the blend.

Also, thanks Chris for the Buttermilk Baby Bath. That's not been tried!

but we did have a sniff and it's just so gentle.

It is VERY gentle, even gentle enough for when baby is a few months old

and bathing in more than just plain ol' water :-) And its good for mum

too!
