Skeeter Beater Spray

Well, even though I personally am wanting autumn here NOW ::giggle::

there is still plenty of warm weather and mosquito season left. With the

growing threat of West Nile Virus across the USA it is more important

than ever to prevent getting bitten by those annoying little skeeters in

the first place.

We are told that carcinogenic chemicals such as DEET are safe to use on

ourselves and our children, but do the benefits outweigh the risks when

there are safer and effective ways to prevent getting bitten by these

insects? Not to me they don't! There ARE alternatives and they ARE

effective!

Effective mosquito repelling essential oils include: pennyroyal,

lemongrass, citronella, lemon tea tree, lemon myrtle, thyme, lavender,

lavandin, cajeput, eucalyptus, lemon eucalyptus, rose geranium, myrrh,

peppermint, rosemary, clove, nutmeg, atlas cedarwood, etc .

Even though this has been a mellow year for skeeters in my neck of the

woods there are still times and areas where they are prevalent and I

personally have bad reactions to any mosquito bites (the welts swell

like golf balls!). Also, when I lived in NYC and went canoeing on

Jamaica Bay daily I HAD to come up with a way to prevent getting bitten

by them or else I was sorry!

For myself and my family I prepare and use a blend of pure essential

oils mixed in a base of several genuine hydrosols and witch hazel. It is

used by spraying it on the skin and clothing. This item is available for

purchase in 2 oz spray bottles for $5.99 and 4 oz spray bottles for

$9.99. The blend can also be made into a lotion upon request. If

interested please e-mail me: chrisziggy

I hope everyone enjoys the remainder of summer, and may y'all stay

skeeter bite free!
