Guest guest
Okay Lynda this should be up your alley! Tell me what to do:( I should put this on the Question for the Experts, in fact I JUST might do that) I'll be 45 in November. I use no moisturizer, no make up, Don't foliate or is that exfoliate? and when I go to the make-up counter I stand there utterly bewildered. What should I be buying to make me look 16 again. Actually I'm serious. Do I buy a base? Do I buy a powder? Do I buy a gel blush? What colors are a no no (faux pas fashion wise). AND I'm a pale red head with delicate skin.... That's your challenge for today Lynda! LOLOLOL!!! Cheers Kathleen Petrides The Woobey Queen: Woobey tip: Feeling stressed? Guest guest
Not Lynda here, She is the expert and I'd take any advice she has to give, but I will tell you that you should DEFINITELY be using a moisturizer ... we all need moisturizers, and one with a sunscreen is vital! As odd as it sounds, even 16 yr olds with oily skin need a moisturizer (as facial grease in not a moisturizer and products to dry up oil can actually create MORE oil issues). Stay away from the heavy looking make-ups and pancake as they'll only make any wrinkles appear deeper by caking up in any crevices. I personally like the powders that double as a " foundation " instead of the thick liquid make-ups :-) And go with neutral/natural shades for your skin ... such as light peach and coral tones and even use just lightly tinted lip glosses (not bright pinks and reds which could make you look " ruddy " ). Also getting a professional coloring job on the hair (nothing drastic, just a brightening and/or highlighting) can do wonders for anyone's whole appearance! Lastly as humorous as this suggestion is with a house full of little ones . try to get some REST! That is the best beauty treatment of all! *Smile* Chris (list mom) PS .. that is exfoliate .. and if you have sensitive skin.. you might not want to really do that. It might do more damage than good your delicate epidermis. http://www.alittleolfactory.com WoobeyQueen [WoobeyQueen] Wednesday, August 14, 2002 8:53 AM Challenge for Lynda Okay Lynda this should be up your alley! Guest guest
Kathleen, I love loose powder minerals for a base. They don't seem to plug up the pores and they cover great naturally. Sandi

Guest guest
Kathleen: You could do a face mask using beaten egg whites instead of exfoliating. This is the only face mask I use--just so you are not allergic to eggs.
