Guest guest
Does anyone have any suggestions about removing pet odors from furniture, doggy odors in particular? My small Schnauza-Poo has been allowed on the sofa since a pup, but now he's nearly 11 and not smelling so puppy-like anymore. I've been noticing the sofa is starting to smell, but after a lifetime of his being allowed on the sofa it would be cruel to suddenly starting forbidding him and reprimanding all the time, especially at his age. I've searched the archives and haven't found anything that sounded helpful. Is there an essential oil, or combination of oils that will combat this problem and not stain the fabric? Thanks! Guest guest
these aren't EO's or 'natural' items.. but one thing that kicks some pet odor butt is called OdorBan. I don't know where my MIL gets it from - but she used it to clean our carpets when we moved into this house we are renting.. and it got all the doggy smell out of them. I've used it on our furniture too in a very watered down version. The smell is rather 'vet clinic' b/c that's what it was invented for cleaning.. but the stuff works. (I'd rather 'clean vet clinic " than " stinky dog " anyday). Another thing is good ol' Fabreeze. ~*~ hawke~*~ (apologizing for her chemical/grocery store variety answer)
Guest guest
LOL! I was hesitant to recommend Fabreze because I know it works, but it's chemicals. And it has a nice scent! You're a lot braver than I am! LOL! MulleinCat At 07:26 PM 7/21/2002, you wrote: >these aren't EO's or 'natural' items.. but one thing that kicks some pet odor >butt is called OdorBan.
