Guest guest
jonee i am praying for those beautiful lands. i lived in southern az for 9 years- and travelled frequently to the apache and sitgreaves national forests- beautiful land indeed.enchanting. i once came upon a herd of elk in an alpine meadow near big lake- and the ground thundered as they cantered away...and that meadow was full of blue flag iris and i just know gnomes and fairies lived there! years of not letting forest fires burn have created a veritable tinder box...and yes this is a dry year- boy is it! i was in AZ in feb and expected to see that " lush " winter desert- but the cactus was withered and the juniper was brittle. these forests need to burn to reproduce- and un fortunately humans have not let the natural cycle happen- and now there is too much fuel for the fire... lets believe in the power of nature to set it straight. the earths life cycle is much longer than the human one(thank goodness) blessings michelle
