Guest guest Posted June 22, 2002 Report Share Posted June 22, 2002 Actually I joked with my midwife that I was in Labor for a week- because I was having many contractions for a week prior to the birth- but really- Labor from start to finish was 2 1/2 hours- and it was all intense- thank goddess for the bathtub and hot water! I couldnt believe it when I felt like pushing because it had not been too long- but I had had the " break " from contractions and then they changed- and one push- his head- another BIG PUSH and his body... So glad to have him on the other side- whew- late pregnancy is challenging. Used a lot of lavender and german chamomile on my " tush " - feeling better now.
