Hey Gals and Guys :)

My new house has wall to wall carpeting (a change from my last house

which was all hardwood floors) .. and, well, it smells - yucky :(

Just a general stench .. and I'm going to get it cleaned .. SOON ..

but not soon enough ;)

I have several ideas of what I want to do this weekend to make it not

stink anymore (aside from tearing it up and getting new

carpets :)) .. But I really want to see what your suggestions are

too!

I'll tell ya what I end up doing and the results :)

Thanks!

Baking soda should work, sprinkle it on, let sit for a while, then vacuum.

Worked for us to get smoke smell out. you could even add a few drops of

lavender oil

Chris,

We have use baking soda, sprinkle it all over the carpet and let it set for a

few hours, then vacuum it up. You can put it on heavy where it's needed most.

They have some at the store that's scented too. You can also do the same

thing but use 5% sevin dust

to kill flea's in your carpet. Sevin 5% is pretty safe, because you can use

it on cats without harming them. Rick
