Guest guest
Killed my first Copper Head today after not seeing any for 6 years. When we first moved in on this property 8 years ago I was killing 1 or 2 a week. Did Kill a Diamond back about 5 years ago. I'm sure glad it was me that almost got nailed and not the grand kids (Tyler - 2 and Jonathan - 5). Going to have to keep a tighter rain on them now when their outside. I think the cats have something to do with keep the bad snakes away. There is a good snake that I see often which is about 4 1/2 feet long, I don't know what it is, but I do know it's harmless to people. Out mowing today and saw a baby deer, it must have been born on this property, cause the fence is too high for it to jump over. My wife saw the mother deer out in the yard by the garden this morning. We have white salt, mineral, and the yellow sulfur/salt blocks left over from the goats for the wild animals. I've seen the cottontails licking from them.
