Guest guest
I liked some of the oils there. The guy from Norfolk, England, had some great eo's. He wasn't at this last one. I also liked the folks from France, not alban muller, but someone else. Aw Butch, the Schillers can't have them ALL in their back pockets! I was there when you were there. Didn't know so many folks went to those things. Paula used to buy my Tea Tree soap for her foster son, she told me about it. ohmygosh, the wind jsut blew my umbrella and plants and glass over...gone... Here's to healthy skin! The 2002 Un-Conference is not gonna be run by any organization. IAHA is the one run by the Shillers .. its a schill for their co-ops. It means International Association of Holistic Aromatherapy .. but its not an association per se .. just a way for them to make money and get folks introduced to their oils. > So it's in Tucson NOT Phx, right? LOL a 2 hour difference there!, Yea .. I caught that later .. ;-p > but ya can go to mexico from tuckson, it's an hour away about. Might do that. I worked a lot in Mexico. Back when I was in El Paso, I did a lotta drug interdiction with Mexican law enforcement types. We used to go across the border to shop as American food was cheaper there. I love Mexican food .. and Mexican beer too .. ;-p > the aromaherb conference was different this year than last. last was > my first, it was ok, but no herbs so I don't know why they call it > 'herb'. this year, more herbs, but someone had REALLY inferior oils in > the main room and i got an asthma attack. NOT fun. I think you're being kind by calling them inferior. Those who went saw what was going down. I attended ONE seminar only .. it was enough for me and for many other folks. They had a panel of " their " distillers to answer questions. But one of them were feeding bovine excrement to the folks big-time .. I know the trade. Anyway, I asked a question of him and after he replied, I added that we did things a bit different here in Turkey .. and Schiller told me she was going to have to cut me off cause other folks had questions. Then one of her " ringers " who was not a part of the panel, took the floor and went on for five minutes or so boring folks about how great Schillers oils were .. ;-p Folks picked up on it ASAP and it became one of the main discussion items in the bar .. which was the central meeting place. > Janine Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
