If they say they buy wild-grown aromatic plants and roots and the like that are harvested by locals .. that's a different tale. I know a good many folks around Friendsville, MD (near the West By Gawd Virginny Line) who harvest wild goodies and sell them and there are a couple of companies in that area that offer them for sale. In fact, we have a very large ginseng producer there. Once someone takes seeds from a wild plant and cultivates it, two things go down .. it ain't wild grown no mo and the chemical profile will dang sho change.
