sandy soil

I too am burdened with " sandy " soil. I have tried to

plant things that do well in hot dry sandy soil.

Mullein loves it here. As do standing cypress, black

eyed susans, mexican daisys, sedums and rosemary.

 

And yes, I too have sand burs. Can't get rid of them.

I knew some people a few years back that got a hog and

chained it in the front yard. Hogs will root out

anything and were cleaning the yard of grass burs for

them. I have also read that camels will eat grass

burs. (The goats I had did not eat grassburs OR

poison oak.) Rambling...

And they are NOT organic- and can they guarantee that their warehouses are

not fumigated?

Are the herbs fumigated when they enter the country?

 

This is what my supplier can guarantee for me- and the herbs are certified

organic, ethically wildcrafted or, for certain herbs, pesticide and sulphur

free(chinese herbs and rose blossoms)
