YL taking over NAHA and the Consequences

Hi all

I checked out the list of classes on NAHA's list. There are no less than 8

different classes offered by our friend David Stewart.

Whether or not these are actually sponsored by NAHA is not stated. It seems

to be more of a case of a YLer who has bought his way into the Org and is

using it as an advertising forum.

I know that a lot of YLers signed up for NAHA after the President of that

Org, sent a member of YL a letter of welcome to all YLers. How many have

chosen to infiltrate ( and I do MEAN infiltrate) the Org is unknown, but I'm

willing to bet you will find some if not all seats after the September

elections being taken over by YLers.

Quite frankly, I think that unless something is done quickly, NAHA is in it's

dying throes and soon will be nothing but a mouth piece for YL. That will

include the Aromatherapy Journal (which will of course start including the

wonderful scientific articles of RDT) and all other publications and forums

including the Shows that are put on By NAHA.

Unless it is already too late, this sounds like it will be the last chance

for NAHA to be of any use towards the responsible Aromatherapy community.

However, it is a great opportunity for Young Living. They will have a ready

made Organization that is ready (or can be made ready) to influence the

future of Aromatherapy, from legistation to what can be found on store

shelves. From the use of E.O's to quality control, labeling who can practice

Aromatherapy (such as only those that have taken the YL Course ...).

It is MY opinion that unless the ARomatherapy Community is ready for Young

Living to take over one of the few nationally recognized Associations

representing Aromatherapy, then instead of running FROM Naha, you should be

running towards its rescue.

There is a lot more at risk than just the Current Presidency, we are talking

about the future of Aromatherapy and the influences that Young Living could

have on it.

And you think they haven't thought about it, aren't working for it. Think

again. If I have thought of it (Miss Rosy spectacles herself), then you can

bet the cogs and wheels are already turning.

Frankly, if YL DOES take over, the future will be bleak.

Cheers!

Kathleen and list,

I am outraged with what I have seen on the NAHA site. I will NOT

be apart of an organization that changes it's value or ethics when

approached with big money. I have been battling this in my own

business, a small husband and wife team working hard to make

a living, then big money sees that all the ground work is done and

sees that the volume is good and moves in , in the dark of night an

takes over. This is exactly what is leading to the demise of

business in America.. I'm sure just like others whom have been

in the same bed with GY that NAHA will regret ever having slept

with them. GY will still however use them in his BIO ;-((
