Hi Everyone,

I'm trying in vain to find some info on fractionated coconut oil. I am

interested b/c of the indefinitely shelf-life and the fact that it has no

odor. What I can't find is info on how it is processed. Does anyone know

this info? I wan't to know particularly if solvents are used. Any good

sites for info or suppliers, please pass along.

Thanks,

Debbie

Deb,

I searched everything I have and discovered I threw it out. Some F.C is solvent

extracted, some is not. It depends on the company doing it. You need to ask them

how they do it. Assuming you are dealing with the manufacturer or importer. If

not, you'll have to trust your supplier and what they tell you. :)

Thanks Janine -- I think that's why I have been having so much trouble, b/c

it does vary from supplier to supplier. I've found that it is done with

centrifuge, but then also that it is refined. I think I'll start the phone

calls to suppliers!

Thanks!
