Guest guest
Thank you Janet, it's really nice to know I'm missed. I'm very well thanks - and you? I was away down south for a couple of weeks, visiting family and friends and doing a couple of workshops - Slavic Massage, Russian Herbs, and M & P soap making, and that kept me quiet for a while! But also I've been involved in lots of aromatherapy association business with the merging of three associations which has gone pear shaped, and so haven't really had much time for the computer for more light hearted things. I'm out of all that now, so hopefully you'll see me around a bit more. Don't know if you remember previous postings of mine re my daughter's three miscarriages? Well, she's pregnant again, so all fingers and toes are crossed and prayers being said that all will be well this time. Best Regards Ann - Scotland Ann~ I was thinking about you today, missing your posts, and your words from the far side of the pond. Guest guest
Ann- does she have a good herbalist? Chinese medicine is very effective at " holding " pregnancies when there is a history of miscarriage- often due to kidney deficiency. I hope all goes well... Guest guest
Thanks Effie - Oh it's nice to be back sharing again by the way- those rabbits and squirrels? I've got two cats, we don't get rabbits and squirrels, but I suppose that's rather drastic action! Regards Ann - Scotland
Guest guest
I have a dog but no cats. City ordinance prohibits they run at large so it wouldn't do me any good to get one unless I kept it on a chain. Don't like that idea. My party cocker knows her territory and don't go out of her yard. I have to watch her a little closer now since she had a stroke three weeks ago. She is blind in one eye and her hearing is starting to go. I am just lucky to still have her since she will be 14 in July. However, she hasn't quit chasing squirrels when they come from the next door neighbor to the bird feeders!!! Take care. Guest guest
That's scary - I can't imagine a chained cat!!! Which city is this? Isn't it sad when our dog friends age so quickly. We lost our collie last October, she was 6 months short of 16 which we though was pretty good. What a lovely friend she was to us. We've still got one and....are getting a puppy in 3 weeks! Fun and games eh? Regards Abb - Scotland I have a dog but no cats. City ordinance prohibits they run at large so it wouldn't do me any good to get one unless I kept it on a chain. Guest guest
Ventura, Iowa with a population approximately around 700. Are you getting the same breed in the puppy? I had a Sheltie at one time also. They love unconditionally and mine has licked away many a tear. Don't know if I will get another dog when her time comes and won't cover that bridge till then. Take care, Effie Ann Thorpe <Ann Monday, May 27, 2002 1:47 PM Re: Ann >That's scary - I can't imagine a chained cat!!! Which city is this? > >Isn't it sad when our dog friends age so quickly. Guest guest
Hi Effie Just shows how different we are here to there. Cities over here tend to be large places like Edinburgh and Glasgow! Ventura over here would be called a village!!! We're getting another Collie, she's very pretty, black and white. We spent a long time wondering if we would get another, and the dog we still have spent a long time mourning, but we feel it's the right time now though if I will still think this when I'm cleaning up puddles etc - who knows! I'll p ost up a piccie when I've got one Regards Ann >Ventura, Iowa with a population approximately around 700. Are you getting the same breed in the puppy? I had a Sheltie at one time also. Guest guest
Ann~ Oh never underestimate our powers of seeking out one who is absent. Glad you are back with us. Here in the Northern Midwest, sounds strange described that way, weather is pleasant, eo's diffusing, iris are blooming, tulips are in full color, birds are singing, all seems calm. > > ALL Points Bulletin (report sighting when spotted) LOL > >That sounds like my picture should be nailed up on a poster for all to see >- and then go find!!! > >Regards >Ann ¸..·´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸.·´ .·´¨¨)) ((¸¸.·´ ...´ -:¦:- Janet -:¦:- -:¦:- ((¸¸.·´*
