Guest guest
I DON'T live in Oregon. But I MIGHT! Hubby is planning on Moving in a couple of years and we are scoping out the Portland/Vancouver area for houses, schools etc. 80 houses I've found that look close to what we are looking for, in our price range. Imagine that! 80 houses to choose from. Here in good old Silicon Valley, in the price range I'm looking at, you couldn't get a SHACK! The housing market is SO overinflated and SO competitive, the median price is about 454,000! Fortunately we bought our house before they got that bad, but MAN! You can't afford to breathe the smog. I look forward to spotted Owls, tree's galore, the Columbia River, Deer etc. Going NUTS in SV, CA Kathleen
Guest guest
Hi, Just thought I'd jump on in here since I live in Oregon too. Haven't been to Breitenbush, but my sister loves it and she is much more open with her " nakedness " than I that's for sure so don't know that I will ever get there. Have a brother that takes his boys and my oldest (12) to Olallie each summer for a fishing trip. I hear it's quite lovely. Near there is Clear Lake. That's where my DH and I had a romantic row in one of the boats they rent for one of our first dates. No motor boats there either, why you can't even call since there is no phone. I like that! >>>I love the Detroit Lake area. Have you been to Green Peter? That is the ultimate lake in the area. >Michele (who will go back camping AFTER the kids are out of diapers!) Why wait to enjoy the outdoors?? Just bring a big plastic bag for those diapers. Or go disposable for the trip. That's what we do Margaret (who is busy planning out all the camping trips we'll be taking this summer & I can't wait!) _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. Guest guest
Thanks, I didn't think to go with disposables for a camping trip. I was trying to figure out how to wash out dirty diapers in a two hole outhouse Though our big trip this summer is going to be a drive back to Iowa to see my grandparents -- " Margaret Helm-Duell " <naturalindulgences Wed, 15 May 2002 14:36:07 -0700 Re: Hot Springs-OT Hi, Just thought I'd jump on in here since I live in Oregon too.
