I wish I knew who it was on this list that originally mentioned soy wax to me because I must say it has changed my life. Doc and I were out doing some shopping today, and we went into a high end floral and gift store. They had some soy wax candles in drinking glass jars with metal lids. The packing was uptown. While I was looking, sniffing and admiring another customer came up to me to tell me she had, had one of these explode in her home. She had told them at this shop and they were total unaffected. The glass container was elegant looking but very thin glass. I mention this because I notice companies pouring candles in many types of containers. Points to consider when you buy. Do not buy candles in tins that have seams. They will leak, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but they will leak as that seam expands. Look at the glass the candle is poured in, much of the glass in the marketplace is not intended to take heat for a prolonged period of time. Never leave a candle burning unattended. I had mentioned to Effie that when I light candles, which is everyday in our home, I calm myself and light them in memory of those you have transitioned or those who I feel need light in there lives. It is just calming to me and helps me remember why I started making candles in the first place. Again, thank you all for your kind words, and I am so very happy you all have been pleased with the products you have received. You should be doing a happy, naked dance:) Your candles rock the world and ROCK ON to Butch for offering them in the new store (Best luck in that endeavor, Butch!) I'm excited to try some of the new scents you've come up with! I've burned my last Janet Candle and must be making my way over soon to buy some more...my house misses them! In all seriousness, I've never found a candle that burns as clean and completely as yours. They're priced more than fair (I'd be willing to pay double what you charge!) I absolutely love that they're soy and so easy to clean up when/if spilled. My furbabies knock everything over, so... Best of luck with the new changes!
