Guest guest
I want to make a soap with Cinnamon Leaf & Clove EO's..now I know you have to be careful with both of these..because they can be a skin irritant..but my question is..if I use small amounts or add another eo to it, can I make soap with them? Or is it something you should stay away from in soap?? Kelly's Soaps, Salts, & Fizzies Kelly Hess www.soaprecious.com/kellys-bottles
Guest guest
Not only that but you need to work fast with these oils because they will make your soap trace very quikly and then heat up in the mold so fast that the whole batch can sepparate! use very cool temps and a clove blend rather than streight clove oil and nothing else.. Clove blends well with rose, sweet orange, ylang ylang, myrrh and many others. I love clove with geranium, lavender, and patchouli. It is my very favorite blend for shampoo bars or an all olive oil soap base..man oh man!Today I made an amber, vetiver patchouli with Butche's Rose Hydrosol in the water phase and let me just say that it is amazing in every way! have fun! anastasia http://www.anastasiasideas.com , " Kellys Soaps Salts & Fizzies " <vkhess@e...> wrote: > I want to make a soap with Cinnamon > Leaf & Clove EO's..now I know you have to be careful with both of > these..because they can be a skin irritant..but my question is..if I use > small amounts or add another eo to it, can I make soap with them?
