For what it's worth, I did read through this one but decided not to add it

to my library. I don't remember why. If you have a local library near you,

definately go down and check some books out. Compare the different recipes

and so on and then decide. Some authors use lard or Crisco in their soaps

and I was never interested in that.

This is the first book I got on soapmaking and it all turned out

fine. A lot of Mis-information in there like adding the water to the

lye and not the oposite. I have heard on other form that they think

this is a horrable book.

 

If you are looking for a general soapmaking book I would

recomend " The Soapmakers Compainion " Not sure who wrote

it, but it has tons of great information in it.
