>sigh< My mother and I have always had a rather interestng relationship,

sparring to say the least. She is also very good with acerbic comments, her

latest was in comparing me to " A sow at the fair " .

Now, I admit, that I do lay down to feed Hunny Bunny, but I never thought of

myself as a " Sow at the Fair " .

She said " I suppose you're going to hold this one against me until the day I

die " , I said " Probably " I've got quite a few that I hold against her, but

" sow at the fair " really DOES rank pretty close to the top.

any of the rest of you have an " interesting " relationship with your mother.

Or am I the only one who treats her and gets treated by her, like a best

friend/worst enemy?

Cheers!

Oh thank God I'm not alone. Here I thought that it was just the way my Mom

was with me.

I was likened to a " Giant Easter Egg " when I was pregnant with my son a few

years back. There we were going toward the alter at church on easter sunday

for communion and she decided to " compliment " me. I was in tears by the time

I got up there.

I currently still lay down and nurse my youngest, but will have to say that

my Mom hasn't said anything like your " sow at the fair " .

You totally described my relationship with my Mom. She is my best friend

and at times if feels like my enemy.

Thanks for your post.
