Happy Friday Folks!

Hawaiian Red 'Alaea Sea Salt is an unrefined salt, that is red in color

from naturally occurring 'Alaea clay in the salt beds. This salt is

naturally high in trace minerals and iron.

The benefits of eating unrefined sea salt to refined salt is that

refined salt has most everything but the sodium chloride removed from

it, while natural salt has at least 80 individual constituents that make

it up! Refined salt is not a complete product, and can be detrimental to

the health. Unrefined salt is actually nourishing to the body and

assists digestion. Our bodies have stress put on them metabolizing just

sodium chloride. Constant consumption over many years can contribute to

negative health issues just like other highly refined foods, such as

white flour, white sugar, etc. do. Hawaiian Red 'Alaea Sea Salt tastes a

little more " mellow " than other salts I have tried ... it doesn't have

that sharp salt " bite " to it.

The benefits of using Hawaiian Red 'Alaea Sea Salt in toiletry products

is that wonderful 'Alaea clay in it. It helps make the skin sooooo

smooth and soft :)

It is my salt of choice for throat gargles.
