OT: New Oils Are In

Hi y'all,

 

After four plus months of planning and testing, the THIRTY-THREE new EOs

are firmly in place and going out the door at a rapid pace .. ;-p

 

Actually, there are 37 .. but four are replacements for out of stock.

 

They are only listed on the Wholesale site now .. was a pain-in-the-rear

to work my pricing magic on those .. not as easy as some might think. I

won't get them on the Retail site till Sunday or Monday.

 

If you are a reseller you probably have the magic words to enter the

Wholesale site. If you're a reseller and don't have them, just ask me.

If you are a reseller and registered in Maryland .. I'll need to record

your Resale License, Tax License or some form of Big Brother document -

or charge sales tax.

 

For the time being, we're not able to stick to our goal of shipping

within 48 hours of order .. too many orders now so it is likely to be

more like 3 days instead of 2. My folks will work overtime Saturday.

I'll mention that I was finally able to find enough aromatic plants to

distill 50 kilos of the Origanum dubium Linalool .. and 50 kilos is but

a drop in the bucket considering that we sold over 200 kilos in little

bitty amounts in 2001 .. the plants are just not available now. Also, I

have the Hydrosol from this distillation .. not much though .. and it is

a FIRST in the USA .. :-)

 

The bad news for me and good news for some is that the authentic Mysore

Sandalwood has increased TWENTY-SIX percent in the last 60 days. I am

down to four ounces now so it is coming off the wholesale list ... this

is good news for the lady on this list who bought two kilos a few months

back .. I think she wanted to stash it for her grandkids .. ;-p

 

Rumor on Emu Oil .. I don't sell it .. BUT .. I'm seeing some marketing

come-ons here and there. Like stock market tips they are. Some folks

claiming that they have been approached by some large conglomeration who

wants to buy more than is produced so you better hurry up and buy from

them like NOW cause its gonna go up soon. One don't gotta be a friggin

rocket scientist to gather that someone trying to push their product in

the face of insufficient supply and overwhelming demand has either gotta

be a slick marketer or nutty as a fruit cake .. ;-p
