Yep .. but with yield being less than a kilo per metric ton of leaf, not

many folks wanna invest in producinmg it .. we produced ten kilos last

fall and have maybe half of it left .. but it just went on the wholesale

list 3 days ago .. the other was sold to folks who were waiting.

OK .. I'm not saying the information is valid .. I'm not making any

recommendations at all .. just passing along the info.

I think that the ladies who performed the study are showing guts because

it is not easy to do such a thing without criticism .. and it is not

easy to get those who are qualified as scientists to get involved in

such a study. I think the results show a positive effect but I also

think there is a need for more research and follow up on the long-term

effects of use of the oil .. there is much known about the herb but the

oil is new and we CANNOT assume the same results on a long-term basis.

I am presenting 3 posts in reverse order of the dates .. I AM NOT making

any recommendations for its use and I think people should read the

information very carefully before they decide to self-medicate. I will

HIGHLY RECOMMEND against ingestion without the advice of a physician and

will recommend that a physican be consulted in any case before one makes

the decision to self-medicate using Vitex .. because .. we DO NO KNOW

the long-term effects .. and I'm not really sure we know the short term

effects.
