Howdy Folks and Happy Thursday :)

I just started gathering some supplies as I begin my day cleaning my

home .. and I wanted to mention in passing how much I LOVE to use my

hydrosols around the house for cleaning! Today I am using a combination

of Tea Tree and Lemon Tea Tree Hydrosols in the bathroom - perfect for

use as a quick spray to wipe down and disinfect all of the surfaces

(another trick - used dryer sheets make GREAT chrome polishers!) ....

Then I'm using a combo of oregano and rosemary hydrosols in the kitchen

- to disinfect all surfaces, use in the floor wash, and it makes the

room smell so YUMMY. Also, not a hydrosol, but I'll be using some Lemon

Myrtle EO in the wood oil soap I wash the floors with :)

This is great Chris, thanks for the ideas! Do you use any of these as glass

and window cleaners? I was thinking water, a little vinegar and lemon eo.

Whatdaya think?

Howdy Debra ... All :)

Happy Friday!

Usually for window cleaner I just do the vinegar and water with

newspapers deal .. but I don't see how adding ONE drop of lemon EO to a

big batch of the stuff would hinder its effectiveness .. and it'd

probably make it smells so much nicer too .. lemony fresh :-D

Hi again Jackie :)

If I am using them as " disinfectant room sprays " (like Lysol) I use them

straight, undiluted ..... or just spray them onto a cleaning rag and

wipe stuff down like that :)

When I make up cleaning blends I do dilute them ... I don't make up a

BIG bucket of cleaning water, I usually just end up with about a cup or

less of cleaning solution to clean a room .. and about 3 cups to clean

my floors ..... so I don't need massive quantities of EO's or hydrosols

for cleaning :)

For regular cleaning I usually blend into water (no specific amounts of)

baking soda, borax, and then an EO or hydrosol of my choice ....

occasionally I'll use some of my homemade soap too :)

I hope that helped a bit :)
