Hi Effie,

Was it my puppy dog, I would use it .. but I would not recommend this to

others because I would be doing something I am not totally knowledgeable

on - but confident enough to do myself. I'm hoping that Sevi .. from

Cybercanine .. is monitoring this and will comment.

I know of no reason why it would be detrimental to a dog .. not the same

for cats, however, as they have a totally different metabolism than do

dogs and human critters. I grew up with bird dawgs .. my grandpa and pa

used whatever to treat them and we never had any problems. Later, I had

two kennels myself .. one in Texas for German Short Hairs and another in

Georgia for Brittneys .. and I usually treated my AKC registered mutts

similar to the way my ancestors treated their " sooners. "

Y'all keep smiling, Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
