Guest guest
Hello all Reading about the Rose hydrosol in the babys eyes for what I call pink-eye. So thinking.... On a dog pregnancy list one persons dog got mastiitis- common while weening, peppermint oil was suggested by someone- sounds dangerous to me but.. Anyway my dog is pregnant and she did get swollen teats, but it did not turn into true mastiits, warm compresses kept it at bay but since the subject was brought up would the rose hydrosol be something that would help with this? - thank-you Emryldgea
Guest guest
Hi all: Mentioning rose hydrosol for eye problems--do any of you think it would help my cocker? She had injured her one eye and it was so very swollen and it looked like her eye was going to pop out. I took her to the vet and he wanted me to take to Ames (ISU) for a second opinion. She is going on 14 years old and I just couldn't afford to do that. Anyway after spending over $175 at the vets, it is still a little swollen but doesn't cause her any discomfort. Just thought if it works on babies, maybe it would be gentle enough to use on her eye. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Blessings and love, Effie emryldgea <theimage Friday, March 01, 2002 8:05 AM Rose Hydosol for pink eye & ? >Hello all >Reading about the Rose hydrosol in the babys eyes for what I call >pink-eye. Guest guest
Hey Effie It certainly wouldn't hurt. It might help to promote healing, also to prevent infection. I would give it a try. I use Rose hydrosol for first aid kits... spraying on the kids ouch's etc. Cheers! Kathleen Petrides Editor: AFS Next issue comes out NEXT WEEK! Guest guest
I personally wouldn't use peppermint for my dogs, but yes, I personally would use rose hydrosol on them *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com emryldgea wrote: > Hello all > Reading about the Rose hydrosol in the babys eyes for what I call > pink-eye.
