Guest guest
Hi Debbie, Don't know much about these classes, but if you do a bit of research and go to the http://www.NAHA.org site, then click on the resources part, you'll find a list of recommendations for classes, etc...... Does it matter? Nope! lol NAHA really doesn't have standards, YOU can join if you like Maybe not as a teacher of AT, but if you'd like to say you're a member of naha, go to that same main page and click on join. (and pay of course! lol) Basically, find yourself, if you really want to take a class, maybe even someone from your area, that's willing to give you time and teach you what " you " need to know in order to use essentials safely and for the right things. Besides, while lots of us are certified in AT, since it's not recognized in the USA, that in itself makes it pretty meaningless............for now anyways. Probably won't change for a bit. You'll probably learn as much if not more being on a good list and asking things like you already are. Also, if you wish to purchase essentials from certain companies as well as carrier oils, check via e-mail w/the companies - some offer samples.........some will give you a copy of their testing - others won't... you'll weed it all out in time, and you're doing great.. Keep asking things! And........Hi Lynn and welcome, good to see you here You'll like it! Hugs to you both...... Marilyn Debra McDuffee wrote: > Does anyone know anything about these classes? Guest guest
Marilyn, Thanks so much for this -- this particular class caught my eye b/c it was cheap, to be truthful. I agree with you that I can learn by reading the books and asking quesions here (you all are a Godsend!), but I feel it would give my business more credibility if I had the title of certified aromatherapist -- does that make sense, or do you think it doesn't matter? I am the type of person who will be a lifelong learner, so I'm not too worried about not knowing -- I'll be getting better for the rest of my life! But if you say the title doesn't mean anything, I should probably do the cheapest class I can find? Hmmmm? I'm also looking at that one Butch recommended -- anyone ever take that?
